Error 654 : Item transmitted via incorrect online claiming channel
This error is generated with Department of Veterans Affairs claims and may be due to the doctor setup.
Open the doctor screen.
Click Maintenance and Business Data.
Enter the system password.
Select the doctor from the list that is displayed and click OK to view the doctor details.
To modify the details of an existing doctor you can double click on the name in the Selection List and the Doctor Data screen will open.
Check the Allied Health setting. Doctors claiming items such PH20 must be set as DVA Allied under Allied Health
Modify the doctor details in this screen and click OK to save changes or Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous screen.
