Veterans DVA claiming

eClaims helps to process payments for veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). The claiming system is managed by Medicare and claims are transmitted through the Medicare network.

In order to transmit DVA claims the doctor must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Select the tick box DVA Registered in the Doctor Data screen to indicate the doctor is already registered for DVA claims.

If referral information is required to support claims then the Service Type must be set to Specialist.
